We fell a little in love with Oh Jung Se, who portrays Ahn Pyeong Wook, when he is laying out the law for the group. The best parts about “Seoul Vibe” are the actors themselves, and their effortlessly stylish execution of their respective characters. It is probably not the runtime as much as it is our decreased attention span due to every other show or movie just being around 100-120 minutes long. “Seoul Vibe” begins with the group’s recruitment for the mission and traces their successes, failures, and redemptions. Highly recommended. When it comes to the writing itself, it is slick and smart, but we question whether all the parts of the runtime of almost 140 minutes were required. The Mighty Vibe is like the iPod evolved-a Bluetooth-enabled, portable music player that lets you take your online tunes offline. Who would have thought that, after years making sure we're never disconnected, we'd pine for the days of single-purpose tech, but here we are. If you're looking to minimize distractions and the gear you carry with you on the go, and you have a Spotify Premium account, there's little reason not to grab one. Especially if you're going out for a long run (Mighty Vibe is water and drop resistant), it could mean the difference between training frustration and workout zen. But when what you get is five hours of uninterrupted music on the go, without interruptions from calls or notifications, the price doesn't seem all that bad. But these things are fleeting and don't detract from the delightfully disconnected experience.Īt around $80 ( Amazon usually has it for less), it's a leap of faith. And if you need to do any data management on the go, you'll need your phone and a Wi-Fi network.

If you have lots of playlists, it can get a little tedious switching between them (especially since the robotic voice that announces each one is cringe-inducing). Selecting an exact song can take a bit of work, since you have to click through your playlist to find it. The limited interface does have the occasional drawback, however. It's a simple thing to find the buttons to raise or lower the volume, play or pause your music, or skip tracks. That simplicity makes it a joy to use, especially when working out.
